On 1 October 2018, the first phase of the new funding model for child and family services commenced. To support the reporting process for these new activities, the department has released two new resources.

Service delivery tracking (SDT) supports organisations in managing their progress towards meeting agreed targets and assists the department to manage its reporting requirements.

On 1 October 2018, the first phase of the new funding model for child and family services commenced. From this date, a number of family services funded activities commenced funding through the new activity structure. SDT applies to four of the new activities, which provide direct client services:

  • Intake and access (31434)
  • Individual, child and family support (31435)
  • Flexible funding (31437)
  • Specialised interventions (31438).

The first reporting template for SDT will be sent out to funded organisations on 1 November 2018 for them to report on service provision for October.

To support the reporting process for these new activities, the department has prepared Frequently asked questions along with a Counting rules ready reckoner.

Organisations are encouraged to contact their service plan lead to raise any queries about  the new activities or the SDT reporting process.
