A new strain of ransomware labelled Bad Rabbit has been identified. It is disguised as a fake Adobe Flash player update which will encrypt and disable access to your local and network files. A ransom will be demanded to regain access to your files.
Do NOT proceed with installation of fake Adobe Flash player if you receive a pop-up while web browsing. Close the browser immediately and contact your IT service provider for information on how to block malicious websites.
