The Victorian Auditor-General's Office (VAGO) are currently auditing the department’s capability in managing service agreements.

The Victorian Auditor-General's Office (VAGO) recently commenced a performance audit looking at the department's capability in managing service agreements.

The Auditor-General is an independent officer of the Victorian Parliament, who undertake an annual program of financial and performance audits of state and local government public sector entities. These audits aim to examine the effectiveness and efficiency of government agencies and identify opportunities for improvement in practices and systems.

VAGO are now seeking input from departmental staff and funded organisations via structured information requests.

What is happening?

As part of their engagement process, VAGO are interviewing a small number of selected funded organisations as well as conducting an online survey of a broad sample of funded organisations.

VAGO will contact selected organisations through their nominated primary contact. Get them to keep an eye on their inbox for information from VAGO about how your organisation can participate.
