Connecting to the Client Incident Management System (CIMS)

Do you deliver a disability, homelessness, alcohol and drug, community health, or children, youth or family service?

Have you registered to report incidents through the Client Incident Management System (CIMS) yet?

For in-scope services, it is a requirement to report events or circumstances that occur during service delivery and result in harm to a client through CIMS.

Practice Guidelines for Homelessness Services

In response to the roll out of the NDIS in Victoria, the Department of Health and Human Services has developed practice guidelines for specialist homelessness services to assist them in working with current or prospective NDIS participants who may be at risk of, or experiencing homelessness.

Updated pre-assessment foster care training – Shared Lives Victoria 2019

Shared Lives Victoria 2019, the updated pre-service foster care training is now available for foster care agencies to deliver to prospective foster carers.

The Department of Health and Human Services, in collaboration with the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare, and representatives from foster care agencies, has released Shared Lives Victoria 2019.
