Each day, thousands of Victorians make outstanding contributions to empower people with a disability, and help them live an ordinary life.
The Victorian Disability Awards recognise those who lead the way in creating a fairer, more inclusive community.
You can help acknowledge the people who are making a real difference in the lives of people with a disability by nominating a person, team or organisation. Often simple, creative things can make a big difference.
The awards are open to all Victorians, not just those involved in the sector. Anyone making it easier for everyone to enjoy everyday activities, supporting the equality of people with a disability and finding new ways to promote accessibility while working to uphold the vision of the Victorian government’s State Disability Plan is an ideal candidate.
Visit www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/disabilityawards for more information, or to nominate someone.
Nominations close on Sunday 8 April.
