Updated: COVID-19 Disability Services Sector Plan

11 June 2020
The COVID-19 plan has been updated to reflect the changes to Directions issued by Victoria’s Chief Health Officer on 1 June 2020.

This includes the new Stay Safe Direction and easing of activity restrictions that now allow up to 20 people to attend a service, as long as physical distancing requirements are met.

The updated plan also includes an update to the Hospital Visitor Direction which specifies that a disability worker may enter or remain at a hospital to provide disability services to a patient with a disability. Information has also been included about the Victorian initiative to streamline processes for workers entering the sector during the coronavirus pandemic.
